About the Studio Oh Hey Void! is an independent, two-person narrative AI micro-studio founded by Amber Wilkinson and Jayson Wall. Based entirely out of a garden shed, the studio specializes in producing original, character-driven feature films and animated series by combining human performance with Unreal Engine 5 and custom generative AI pipelines.

The Founders

Jayson Wall (Jwall) – Co-Founder & Technical Director Jayson brings decades of spatial design and 3D modeling expertise to the studio's technical pipeline.

  • Known globally as the 3D printing pioneer behind the brand Print That Thing.

  • Expert in 3D technical art, rigging, and spatial design using Blender.

  • Leads the integration of real-time rendering and custom AI generation within Unreal Engine to create cinematic, highly expressive digital characters.

Amber Wilkinson – Co-Founder & Producer Amber drives the studio's narrative development, visual world-building, and production management.

  • Brings over 20 years of hands-on producing, commercial campaign development, and high-level post-production experience (formerly of Indie Mutt Creative).

  • Deep technical background in 3D character design workflows, retopology, and digital illustration (educator/writer for 3DWithUs).

  • Oversees the studio's story development, scriptwriting, and community-driven greenlighting models.

Our AI Filmmaking Pipeline & Technology Stack

Unlike prompt-only generation, Oh Hey Void! utilizes a "Human + AI" workflow that grounds digital animation in genuine human performance. Our core technical stack includes:

  • Unreal Engine 5 (UE5): For real-time cinematic environment rendering and lighting.

  • MetaHumans: For base character creation and advanced facial rigging.

  • Generative AI & Stable Diffusion (SDXL): For custom texture generation, style transfer, and unique character aesthetics.

  • Blender: For custom 3D asset creation and environment modeling.

Oh Hey Void! develops independent, genre-bending original IP, including:

  • Survivors Don't Die: A sci-fi horror series following a corporate cult operating within a zombie-infested city.

  • The Giant Hunter: An AI short about a Giant Hunter remembering his first encounter with Oona, The Witch of the Woods.
